Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field. Master's degree or CFA designation is a plus..

• 2+ years of experience in investment banking, private equity, venture capital, or management consulting, with a focus on climate technology or susatainability sectors.

• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in financial modeling, market sizing and valuation techniques.

• Deep understanding of investment principles, financial markets, and corporate finance concepts.

• Excellent communication and presentation abilities, with the capability to convey complex ideas effectively.

• Passion for environmental sustainability and a desire to drive positive change through impactful investments. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough due diligence on potential investment opportunities, including market research, financial analysis, and risk assessment.

• Evaluate business models, competitive landscapes, and growth potential of climate-tech startups.

• Prepare detailed investment memos and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to senior management and investors.

• Collaborate with internal teams to assess synergies and strategic fit with existing portfolio companies.

• Monitor and track the performance of portfolio investments, providing regular updates and insights to stakeholders.

• Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory developments, and emerging technologies in the climate-tech and sustainability sectors.
